Ukulele Festival Hawaii

World’s largest ukulele festival on Oahu is coming up this Sunday, July 21.  The 43rd annual festival will be returning to the Kapiolani Park Bandstand in Waikiki.  Ukulele teacher Roy Sakuma has been organizing the event in Honolulu each year since 1971 to show the ukulele can be played as a solo instrument and not just as background music.  Jake Shimabukuro, guest artists from around the world and an ukulele orchestra of over 800 students, mostly children will be performing for crowds of thousands.
